Here’s another simple but useful mod from popular mod creator TehKrush. In Minecraft, you might have noticed that trees don’t work like they do in real life. In the real world, when you cut through the bottom of a tree, the entire tree falls down. Unfortunately, Minecraft doesn’t have those mechanics.

But it does now! Thanks to the Timber Mod from TehKrush, Minecraft players can now chop apart an entire tree just by chopping through the base of the tree. The mod is called ‘timber’ because after you chop through the base of the tree, wooden blocks from the rest of the tree scatter all around you.

This mod has one purpose: help you get more wood from the trees you cut down. Instead of being forced to chop through each individual tree block manually to get wood, you can just focus your efforts on the lowest tree block.

This mod is quick and simple but it’s very useful for those who need to collect lots of wood in a short period of time.
