The animations in vanilla Minecraft can look blocky and awkward. Nobody is going to argue that Minecraft is at the top of its class visually, but many players feel that the animations could use some work.

That’s where The Better Animations Collection comes in. This mod tweaks and improves Minecraft’s animations in a number of different ways. It changes the in-game models, alters the physics engine, and ultimately makes Minecraft animations look more realistic.

To make Minecraft look more realistic, The Better Animations Collection has changed several important parts of the game. It improves mob and character mods by adding movable parts and animations, for example. It also simulates physics to give a realistic weight to everything in the Minecraft world.

The Better Animations Collection has plenty of noticeable features. Players can watch a pig’s nose move when it looks at you, or watch a dog’s tail wag when it runs around. In fact, The Better Animations Collection tweaks just about every mob in the game. Creepers now sway back and forth menacingly as they come towards you, for example, and everywhere you look, there are new and improved animations.

One of the best features of The Better Animations Collection is the fact that players can pick and choose which animations they want to put into the game. All of the mod’s files are clearly labelled, which means players can choose to only drag and drop certain files. After dropping the new animation files into the Minecraft.jar, the original base class files are replaced.

The Better Animations Collection is constantly being improved, and new releases aim to give Minecraft players a wider range of options when it comes to altering their game.
