Almost every Minecraft player has heard of the Single Player Commands mod. Why? Single Player Commands is one of the most popular mods in the Minecraft community. It gives players access to a wide range of useful cheat codes (also known as ‘commands’). These cheat codes give players the ability to do things like fly around or create massive explosions.
The best way to describe what Single Player Commands can do for your Minecraft experience is to provide a few of the best commands as examples. Simply type these into the Single Player Commands mod and away you go:
-You can clone any NPC simply by looking at them and typing in clone [QUANTITY]
-Make mobs attack one another using the confusesuicide command
-Turn player damage on or off using the damage command
-Create a massive explosion in your current location using the explode [SIZE] command (type any number into the [SIZE] section and watch everything around you explode.
-Freely move the camera around the world using the freecam command
-Toggle between game modes using the gamemode <creative|survival|1|0> command
-Travel freely through buildings, the ground, and any other objects using the noclip command
-Smack an NPC with the force of a thousand suns using the superpunch [DISTANCE|reset] command
Along with all of those commands listed above, you can also change the time of day, create an infinite number of items, and do all sorts of other fun stuff.
These are just some of the commands available for players. For those who want to edit the world and create complex models, Single Player Commands is a necessity. Here are just a few of the ways it makes world construction easier:
-You can change brush info by using a wide variety of //brush commands. These brushes allow you to smooth out a region, clear a mask, set a mask, and do other useful things.
-Copy and paste regions and models using the Clipboard feature. You can cut, copy, and paste clipboards around the map, or even save a clipboard to your computer.
-Generate cool things like forests, vertical cylinders, hollow spheres, and other useful models with Single Player Commands’ wide variety of world generation features.
-Get around easier by using commands like ascend, descend, jump to, and thru in order to travel around the world you’ve created
