Minecraft is a fantastic game, but what makes Minecraft especially entertaining is its thriving community of modders. Mods allow players to do everything from flying planes across the map to breeding horses on farms.
However, before you can install any of those fun mods, you need to install them. And installing mods manually can be a bit of a pain. While most modders provide step-by-step instructions for their mods, it’s easy to mess up the installation process.
That’s why ModLoader is such a popular mod among both players and modders alike. After installing ModLoader, players have a special /mods folder inside the .minecraft folder. Players can drag and drop the .zip files of certain mobs inside this folder, then start up the game and play the mod right away.
Many Minecraft mods require ModLoader 1.4.7 in order to work. At the very least, ModLoader makes the mod installation process as easy as possible.
ModLoader also performs another important function – it prevents conflicts between mods. Since many mods use similar recipes, entities, fuel, and item classes, ModLoader can help decipher these incompatibilities.
In short, ModLoader 1.4.7 is Minecraft’s best mod manager. Whether you consider yourself a tech expert or you’re looking for a beginner method of installing Minecraft mods, ModLoader is a useful tool for any member of the community.
