Risugami has updated all his mods to 1.4.7, these of course includes Modloader 1.2.5 which is a mod that makes the installation of other mods considerably easier.
How to install Modloader for Minecraft 1.4.7
To install Modloader 1.4.7 you have to go to your .minecraft folder, which can be found by typing %appdata% into the computer’s search bar in the start menu, the folder Roaming will appear and in this folder you will find .minecraft. In the .minecraft folder there will be a bin folder, in the bin folder there will be a minecraft.jar file which should be opened using Winrar or 7zip. You then open Modloader and move all the files in modloader into the minecraft.jar file. Then you have to delete a file called META-INF as this will prevent mods from working. You can then make a folder called mods in your .minecraft folder where you can store any mods that you want to use.
So after installing Modloader 1.4.7 you shouldn’t have to install others as it does it for you, however it does appear it doesn’t work well with some mods and sometimes you will have to manually install them, but this shouldn’t be needed very often.
Modloader is a simple, easy to use mod that is definitely worth checking out as it saves time that could be being spent enjoying the mod that you are trying to install.
It is good to know that one of the more basic mods that help us play the game without worrying what is going on in the background is up to date. Now we just have to wait for the other mods that improve game play to catch up.
