If you’re looking for a way to completely change your Minecraft experience, consider installing a mod called Millenaire. Millenaire adds expanded NPC villages into the Minecraft world, and these villages contain a number of cool new features.
After downloading and installing Millenaire, the changes are immediately noticeable. Players can immediately find the nearest NPC village by pressing ‘V’, after which they’ll see a list of all nearby villages.
Making your way into a Millenaire village for the first time can be an extraordinary experience. The mod features a wide range of cultures and civilizations, and each NPC village reflects a unique style. For example, some are Norman villages, which feature traditional thatch roofs and A-frame designs. Other villages feature Mayan pyramids or North Indian cultures.
Depending on which village you travel to, players will be greeted with a number of different trading options. You can buy cultural statues from the North Indian villages, for example, or purchase original artwork for your home from the Norman villages.
And one of the best parts about Millenaire is that the villages are not static; they expand and grow over time. The residents of each village can get married, have children, grow old, and die. And, villages you trade with on a regular basis will become wealthier. If you completely ignore a village, it can even die out, leaving you to explore the ruins of former civilizations around the world.
Players will be able to interact with a number of different NPCs in each village. But the first NPC most people will want to interact with will be the trader, from which players will be able to purchase all of the items we’ve listed above – and more.
Put simply, installing Millenaire is like adding a whole new level of cultural diversity into Minecraft. If you’ve ever wanted to see realistic villages that grow up over time, then Millenaire is definitely one to download.
