If you have multiple Minecraft mods installed on your computer, then you might have run into the occasional ID error. ID errors occur when blocks and items have the same ID number. This confuses the game and can lead to a number of annoying glitches and errors.
For Minecraft players who regularly create new blocks and items, you know how annoying it can be to keep track of which IDs are currently available.
Whenever players create a new item, the ID Resolver Mod asks what you want the ID for that item to be. On the right hand side of the screen, you can see a list of the total number of IDs remaining that are available for use.
You can label your block with any of those IDs, or you can set it to ‘Automatically assign an ID’, in which case the mod will choose an available ID for you.
If you try to label a block or item with an ID that’s currently in use, the ID Resolver Mod will warn you. This prevents errors and conflicts before they have a chance to affect your game.
The ID Resolver Mod is a simple tool, but it’s very useful. If you have ever been frustrated with item ID errors, then this mod can ensure they never happen again.
