Minecraft’s Hidden Doors mod is a popular way to – you guessed it! – create hidden doors throughout the Minecraft world. Using the Hidden Doors mod, players can craft secret doors that look exactly the same as any traditional block, including all types of ore and other crafting materials.
The Hidden Doors mod is a great way to make your homes and structures look as seamless as possible. Instead of having a big noticeable door on the outside of your building, you can simply create a hidden door that only you will know about. This is a small feature, but it’s useful nonetheless.
Hidden Doors is also a practical way to gain entrance to a structure you’re building. If you don’t want to put a big, obvious door directly on the front of the building, you can easily create an entrance that is impossible to detect if you don’t already know where it is. Or, you can have a number of secret backdoor entrances to your home, making it easy for you to get into your home no matter which direction you’re approaching from.
Crafting hidden doors is easy. Simply create a bookshelf, then place that bookshelf around any other block or material. The bookshelf will automatically turn into a door with the texture of that material. The Hidden Doors mod works with all blocks, although some block textures can look a bit odd. For example, making a TNT hidden door will cause the word ‘TNT’ to repeat up and down the door.
Whether you’re creating hidden doors for aesthetic or practical reasons, the Hidden Doors mod makes the process as easy as possible for you. From crafting the door to placing it in a building, this mod makes Minecraft’s door system a lot more functional.
